Vermutul Campari își are începuturile acum 160 de ani. Originar din Lombardia Gaspare Campari a început în 1840 să experimenteze cu diferite ierburi condimente și alte ingrediente pentru a crea un aperitiv amar. În 1860 după 20 de ani de încercări Campari a desăvârșit rețeta pentru bitterul pe care îl cunoaștem astăzi. În deceniile următoare Campari a acaparat marile piețe ale a lumii prin calitatea rafinamentul și nu în ultimul rând eleganța și spiritul artistic. Rafinamentul băuturii și promovarea spiritului creativ sunt păstrate și revigorate în ultimii anii de Campari prin imaginea de brand și colaborările cu diferiți artiști consacrați și de avangardă. Campari este un aperitiv italian obţinut prin infuzarea mai multor tipuri de fructe şi ierburi aromatice în alcool şi apă. Să vorbim puțin despre notele degustării. Mirosul prezintă note vibrante de ierburi aromatice învăluite într-un superb parfum floral. Gustul are arome bogate dulci-amărui de fructe proaspete fructe uscate şi plante aromatice. Finish-ul este lung și amărui în același timp. Culoarea este roşie aprinsă.
