Limoncello este un lichior italian de lămâie produs în principal în sudul Italiei în special în regiunea din jurul Golfului Napoli Peninsula Sorrento și coasta Amalfi și insule de Procida Ischia și Capri. De asemenea Limoncello este produs în Abruzzo Basilicata Puglia Sicilia Sardinia Menton în Franța și insula malteză Gozo. Limoncello e ste un lichior obținut din suc și coajă de lămâie prin procesare la rece. Prezintă o aromă delicată și persistentă de lămâie cu un gust dulce și o aciditate plăcută. Un ingredient popular în cocktailuri Limoncello conferă o aromă puternică de lămâie. Limoncello este în mod tradițional servit rece ca digestiv după cină. De-a lungul Coastei Amalfi este de obicei servit în pahare mici ceramice care sunt de asemenea reci. Această tradiție a fost preluată și de alte zone din Italia.
