Originar din Alsace, Franța, familia Eschenauer s-a stabilit la Bordeaux în 1821, marcând o inițiere remarcabilă în industria comercianților de vinuri. Strâns împletită cu moștenirea vinului din Bordeaux, familia a influențat în mod semnificativ prețurile de export ale vinurilor. Cabernet Sauvignon este un vin roșu excelent.
