Producția de Ouzo are loc în mod tradițional și exclusiv în Grecia fiind considerată băutura națională a Greciei. Această băutură are propriul mod de servire: se asezonează alături de meze o selecție de mâncăruri servite drept aperitiv sau fel principal în vase mici. Aromele pe care băutura Ouzo le are sunt puternice și contrastante: acru și sărat dulce și amar picant și revigorant. Ouzo Mitilini 0.05 L este creată de compania greacă a familiei Kaloyannis care folosește vechea rețetă și metodele tradiționale de distilare în cazane mici de cupru lucrate manual. Ouzo Mitilini 0.05 L conține apă de la izvoarele râului Sedientas anason din satul Lisvori fenicul de la nord de insula Evia scorțișoară nucșoară și multe alte plante. Ouzo Mitilini 0.05 L se servește întotdeauna diluat cu apă sau cu gheață.
