Povestea Tullamore Dew incepe undeva in jurul anului 1829 atunci cand este pentru prima data deschisa distileria in orasul Tullamore de care Daniel E. Williams, creatorul Tullamore DEW un barbat care si-a corit drumul de la un baiat din distilerie la patronul distileriei, care mai apoi a adus electricitatea si automobilele motorizate in Tullamore si a creat si un whiskey atat de distinctiv si plin de caracter, care nu putea sa nu fie stamilat cu initalele numelui sau D.E.W (Daniel E Williams).Tullamore Dew este whiskey-ul original Irlandez, triplu distilat si cu trei amestecuri. Este cunoscut in intreaga lume pentru complexitatea sa lina si blanda. Acest whiskey are o aroma florala timpurie cu note de biscuite care reflecata whiskey-ul din boabe, in timp ce notele picante moi pot fi atribuite blendului, amestecului din alambic (pot still blend). Acesta are o aroma de citrice care este completata de malt.
