Fabricarea whiskey-ului si antreprenoriatul se afla in genele Teeling inca din 1782, cand Walter Teeling a infiintat o mica distilerie artizanala pe Marrowbone Lane Street, in inima industriala a orasului Dublin. Incepand cu 2012, Jack si Stephen Teeling, cea mai recenta generatie de a producatorilor de whiskey Teeling, si-au pus propriile amprente pe whiskey-ul irlandez si au incheiat procesul in 2015 cand au deschis cu mandrie noua distilerie Teeling, tocmai pe drumul unde distileria originala a familiei statea . Distileria Teeling de acum este prima distilerie noua construita din Dublin de peste 125 de ani incoace.Teeling Small Batch contesta conventia a ceea ce poate fi un whisky irlandez, cu straturi de aroma unica, influentate de tehnici neconventionale de maturizare a butoiului. Butoaiele selectate manual in care este imbatranit acest sortiment, este initial imbatranit in butoaie de stejar american de bourbon dupa care sunt blend-uite impreuna in butoaie de Rom din America Centrala unde mai sta aproximativ 1 an pentru a capata un profil unic de fructe uscate. Toate aceste butoaie sunt butoaie de tipul small batch, de cantitate mica pentru ca whiskey-ul din interior sa faca cat mai bine legatura cu butoiul in care imbatraneste.Miros: Buchet primitor de vanilie si condimente impletite cu note dulci de romGust: Gustul are o influenta solida de rom ce creeaza un blend unic, lin si usor lemnos la gustare cu note de fructe exoticeFinish: Finish-ul este dulce-picant cu tonuri lemnoase si persistent
