Timp de 20 de ani, William Grant a avut un vis si anume acela de a face cel mai bun whisky din vale iar cu ajutorul familiei sale a reusit intr-un final acest lucru. In vara anului 1886, impreuna cu cei 7 fii si cele doua fiice, William si-a propus sa construiasca distileria cu mana, piatra cu piatra, care dupa un an de zile de munca a fost gata iar William a numit-o Glenfiddich, ceea ce in galeza inseamna Valea Cerbului. Pasiunea, hotararea si spiritul lui William continua sa-i ghideze si astazi pe cei de la Glenfiddich, fiind printre putinele distilerii de whisky care a ramas in intregime in proprietatea urmasilor familiei care au si infiintat-o.Glenfiddich IPA Experiment, face parte din primul experiment de acest gen, unde Masterul de Malt Brian Kinsman a colaborat cu Seb Jones, o fabrica de bere din Speyside, pentru a crea un nou IPA si au fost pioneri pentru un nou tip de single malt scotian. Maturat in butoaie IPA artizanale, acest single malt este imbogatit cu note unice de citrice, de zeama de mere verzi, pere William si flori de primavara, care se completeaza cu nuanta subtila a hameiului proaspat urmat de o dulceata de lunga durata. Acest single malt este dovada faptului ca lucrui remarcabile pot fi realizate atunci cand oamenii mari se reunesc.Miros: Mirosul este o armonie eleganta cu mere verzi proaspete, pere de William si flori de primavara, completate cu hamei si ierburi proaspeteGust: Gustul este vibrant cu note de citrice, urmat de vanilie cremoasa si un indiciu de hameiFinish: Finish-ul este unul dulce cu ecou de hamei verde
