Povestea The Glen Silver's incepe cu apa din muntii stancosi si vaile verzi din Scotia, care sunt leaganul pentru aceasta apa, cunoscuta initial ca aqua vitae si anume apa vietii, denumire care atunci cand a fost tradusa in galeza, a fost popularizata sub numele de Usquebaugh pronuntat Wiskyba. Incepand cu secolul al IV-lea, cand calugarii crestini au introdus distileria in tarile scotiene, s-a dezvoltat o traditie straveche care stabileste si reglementeaza procesul de creare a acestei bauturi atat de apreciate. Aceasta mostenire poate fi apreciata in fiecare sticla de Glen Silver, un whisky scotian, din mai multe soiuri inclusiv blended si malt scotch.Glen Silver's Blended Scotch Whisky este rezultatul unor combinatii magnifice de scotch-uri si experienta scotiaana in producerea de whisky-uri.
