Descriere
Prima distilerie Lochnagar a fost incendiata in circumstante suspecte in 1824 iar inlocuitoarea acesteia a fost arsa din nou in 1841. In 1845, John Begg a construit noul Lochnagar, dupa care in anul 1848 distileriei i s-a acordat mandatul regal, cand John Begg l-a invitat pe printul Albert sa viziteze distileria de la castelul Balmoral din apropiere, resedinta reginei din Highlands. A doua zi distileria a fost vizitata de regina Victoria, printul Albert si cei trei copii mai mari ai lor. Astfel distileria a devenit cunoscuta sub numele de Royal Lochnagar.Royal Lochnagar 12 ani captiveaza cu intensitatea sa aromatica provenita de la ingredientele atent selectionate si a apei pure de izvor din apropierea castelului Balmoral. Acest single malt prezinta un wchilibru perfect intre notele de fructe uscate si notele condimentate etaland o experienta unica pentru papilele gustative, nu degeaba a fost preferatul reginei Victoria si a printului Albert.Miros: Buchetul aromatic al acestui single malt debuteaza cu note de lemn si praline si continua cu note de cafea, miere si zahar brunGust: Gustul se dezvaluie prin aromele dulci cu accente de fructe uscate si condimenteFinish: Finish-ul acestui single malt este unul mediu, uscat cu note de lemn
