Descriere
Glenkichie se afla asa cum sugereaza si numele in Kinchie Burn de langa satul Pencaitaland din estul Lothian, si fiind situata la aproximativ 30 de km de Edinburgh, distileria fiind asezata in terenurile agricole. Originile distilerii dateaza din jurul anului 1825, cand a fost fondata de fratii John si George Rate, desi nu exista inregistrari directe se pare ca Glenkinchie este distileria Milton inregistrata anterior in zona, aceasta fiind redenumita probabil de catre fratii Rate, probabil prin anul 1837.Glenkinchie Distiller Edition Amontillado Cask Wood incheie perioada de imbatranire in butoaie de stejar european in care au fost tinute Amontillado Sherry de unde capata si whisky-ul caracteristicile specifice si notele bogate si de nuci. De asemenea acest lucru ofera note delicioase de migdale si zahar brun.Miros: Buchetul aromatic al acestui single malt se invarte in jurul notelor de coaja de portocala, amaretto, curmale caramelizate si un indiciu de ovazGust: Gustul este de vanilie cu note de nuci si un indiciu de strugure rosu suculentFinish: Finish-ul este alcatuit cu note de scortisoara si nucsoara
