Descriere
Povestea distileriei Knockdhu, unde se produce single malt-ul anCnoc, incepe cu un om cu viziune si cu ochi pentru o investitie buna. In 1892, John Morrison a cumparat mosia Knock. Terenul inconjurator era plin de truba si orz iar calea ferata era in apropriere si atunci cand au fost gasite izvoare de apa pura si limpede, John a vazut o ocazie de aur. Au fost trimise probe de apa pentru analiza si au fost demarate negocieri cu The Distillers Company din Edinburgh pentru construirea unei distilerii. Distileria si-a deschis portile in anul 1894, iar pe atunci era privita ca intruchiparea perfecta a distileriei moderne.Dezvaluit in prima jumatate a anului 2015, anCnoc Barrow a fost lansat initial pentru piata de retail din turism. Un alt plus la colectia Peaty de la anCnoc, Barrow a fost imbuteliat la o alcoolemie de 46% fara filtrare la rece sau adaugare de culori suplimnetare. Desigur acesta poarta numele nobilei roabe cu care se transporta turba dupa ce era extrasa.Miros: Buchetul acestui single malt este bogat in turba si fum carora li se alatura note de portocale, mere si o lingurita de inghetata de cafea cu sos de cafea.Gust: Gustul persista cu note de fum care se incalzeste usor si duce spre note de stejar si o dulceata la finalFinish: Finish-ul este unul continuu cu note intense de turba
