Aberlour este o distilerie renumita pentru rabdarea sa si pentru capacitatea de a-si hrani spiritul printr-un amestec de butoaie preponderent de Sherry si cateva de stejar american pentru a crea acel profil de aroma Aberlour distinct care ii face pe toti sa saliveze la simpla mentionare a numelui lor.Aberlour Double Cask, in varsta de 14 ani, este partial depozitat in cele mai bune butoaie conventionale de stejar american si de sherry oloroso. Dupa maturare, malturile sunt casatorite intre ele. Acest lucru confera acestuia fructuozitatea sa specifica, un festin prin excelenta de caramel, cirese si coacaze negre. Miros: proaspat, fructat, foarte atragator. Cu note de fructe uscate si dulci, vanilie si putin picant. Gust: rotund si moale, cu caramel, dulceata de fructe de padure si mirodenii.Final de lungime medie, dulce si usor condimentat, cu o nota fina de lemn.
