Distileria Aberfeldy este amplasată pe o vale luxuriantă, la poalele Highland din Scotia. Cunoscută sub numele de Înghițitura de Aur, sursa de apă a distileriei este faimoasa Pitilie Burn, renumită local pentru calitatea apei sale și pentru depozitele sale de aur aluvial. Tehnicile de respecatarea timpului, cum ar fi fermentarea mai îndelungată, contureaza note rare de miere, un punct cheie in semnătura malțurilor Aberfeldy.Aberfeldy 12 ani este un single malț fructat, curat și neted cu o notă de miere și condimente, fiind o introducere perfectă pe calea acestei distilerii din Highland. Principala pretenție a lui Aberfeldy pentru faimă este ca inima excelentului amestec al lui Dewar din acest whisky sa fie în centrul atenției. Acest single malț este parfumat cu condimente, miere și prune, iar gustul este cu multă vanilie și o notă de fum.Miros: Proaspăt și fructat, cu note de pepene proaspăt tăiat, mere verzi și pere alături de pâine prăjită și miere cu o notă de nucșoara.Gust: Acest single malț are o textură minunată, cu fructe bogate in dulceată și note de mere și condimente.Finiș: Finișul este unul de durată cu un echilibru bun și note dulci de fructe și miere.
