Infiintata in anul 1999, de catre sotii Bernard si Rosemary Walsh, distileria Walsh Whiseky este una dintre liderii renasterii whiskey-ului irlandez. Whiskey-ul de aici e Premium Exclusiv, Super Premium, triplu distilat, printre care amintim Writers Tears si The Irishman, doua sortimente apreciate critic si la cerere mare la nivel mondial.The Irishman Founder's Reserve este in proprtie de 70% un Irish Blend Whiskey iar restul de 30% este un Irish Single Pot Still Whiskey, care a fost triplu distilat si imbatranit in butoaie de stejar american de bourbon. Acesta este o abordare unica a stilului Irish Pot Still si este amestecul original si semnat, creat de fondatorul Bernard Wlash. Acest lucru este neobisnuit, deoarece este singurul whiskey amestecat irlandez care contine distilate 100% din Pot Still si 0% whiskey din Grain sau Column Still, acest lucru ducand la un whiskey mult mai aromat. Acest sortiment se matureaza in small batch-uri adica in butoaie mai mici pentru a capata mai bine caracteristicile butoiului in care stau.Miros: Buchetul aromatic este format din indicii de pieper negru, scortisoara, si piersici cu usoare indicii de vanilie si o aroma sugestiva de mereGust: Gustul este usor maltos cu note de ciocolata neagra, stejar bourbon si crema de caramelFinish: Finish-ul este lung cu note de stejar
