Descriere
Distileria Thomas Street, condusa candva de familia Roe, a fost candva cea mai mare din Marea Britanie si Irlanda, cu o productie de 2 milioane de galoane pe an, in varf de cerere. Aceasta a fost situata vis-a-vis de poarta St. James Gate de la Guinness. Dupa ce distileria a fost inchisa in 1926, unele dintre cladirile sale au fost incorporate in fabrica de bere Guinness. In ianuarie 2017, Diageo, actualii detinatori ai fabricii de bere Guinness, au investit 25 de milioane de euro pentru a reporni vechea distilerie a familiei Roe de pe Thomas Street, aproape de locul original al distileriei si de la inceputul anului 2019 a inceput si productia aici.Roe &
Co Blended Irish Whiskey a fost lansat in 2017, marcand revenirea lui Diageo la carma distileriei whiskey-ului irlandez. Acesta este un amestec de malt-uri si grau provenit de la distilerii din toata tara si care a fost maturat cu precadere in butoaiele de bourbon de prima umplutura. Acesta are o textura catifelata, cremoasa si note de fructe dulci si vanilie.Miros: Buchetul aromatic al acestui whiskey se distinge prin notele condimentate si de vanilie cu nucsoara, zeama de lamaie si fructe proaspeteGust: Gustul este unul fuctat cu note de vanilie, pere si mar, lamaie si mangoFinish: Finish-ul este unul mediu cu note de pere, mere si atingeri de frisca
