Descriere
Povestea Glenlivet incepe oarecum in anul 1822, cand Valea Livet din Scotia, fiind indepartata si izolata era perfecta pentru distilarea ilegala. Acesta este locul unde fondatorul Glenlivet, George Smith a aflat mestesugul distilarii. Ascuns de ofiterii vamali si de soldati printre dealuri si izovare abrupte, George a avut timp sa distileze incet si sa-si perfectioneze arta, facand un whisky care va deveni curand unul de renume mondial.Glenlivet Founder's Reserve a fost creat folosind metodele de distilare recunoscute de timp, introduse cu mult timp in urma. Facut cu apa din aceleasi paraie de munte limpezi, in acelasi aer rece si pur, acest sortiment este la fel de neted si fructat ca odinioara. Butoaiele traditionale de stejar in care este maturat acest whisky confera expresiile caracteristice distincte acestui sortiment. Cand George Smith a inceput distilarea, Glenlivet nu avea declarata varsta sa ca whisky-ul a fost selectat din diferite butoaie cu diferite varste de maturare. Apoi pentru a da o expresiemoderna acestui sortiment au fost folosite butoaiele de stejar american, care nu au fost folosite pentru maturare pana atunci, acestea oferind o dulceata neteda si cremoasa ce se amesteca armonios cu aromele delicate si tonurile fructate deja existente.Miros: Buchetul aromatic se distinge prin notele de citrice si portocale dulci ale acestui sortimentGust: Gustul este usor maltos cu note de portocale, pere si cafeaFinish: Finish-ul este unul lung, cremos si neted
