La fel ca si White Label, Dewar's Special Reserve 12 Year Old este un amestec de single malt-uri care se adauga nucleului creat in Aberfeldy, invechit in butoaie speciale din stejar. Bautura a fost creata de Tom Aiten, cel de-al saselea master blender din istoria de peste un secol si jumatate a casei scotiene, folosind exclusiv whisky-uri de 12 ani, pentru a gasi balansul perfect dintre gust si tarie, in asa fel incat sa fie fin, aromat si sa fie baut oricand cu placere.
