Arran Whisky și-a început producția în 1994. Pe 16 decembrie 1994 a început construcția distileriei în Lochranza. Pentru scurt timp acest proces a fost oprit din cauza unor vulturi aurii care și-au făcut cuib. Aceștia au devenit parte importantă din familia Arran, putând fi văzuți și în ziua de astazi. Centru de vizitatori a fost deschis chiar de Regina Elisabeta a II-a, în 1997, unde i s-au oferit și două butoaie de vin pentru Prinții William și Harry. Butoaiele încă se află în depozitul distileriei. Signature Series 2 Barrel Bonfire este un single malt surprinzător, ce oferă o experiență de gust remarcabilă. Arome de caramel, coajă de portocală și vanilie sunt acompaniate de un acord de fum subtil.
