Editia aniversară Plantation Barbados Extra Old 20 ani este o combinaţie desăvârşită între cele două tipuri de rom obţinute prin cele doua metode clasice de distilare fiecare dintre ele aducând caractere specifice deosebite produsului finit. Iniţial produsul este învechit în Caraibe în butoaie bourbon timp de 12-20 de ani timp în care capătă caracterul exotic specific zonei apoi sunt transportate in Franţa Chateau de Bonbonnet pentru a doua perioadă de îmbătrânire de 12-18 luni în mici butoaie de stejar francez unde produsul capătă o eleganţă aparte. Prima sticlă de Plantation Barbados Extra Old 20 ani a fost creată pentru şeful companiei Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel cu ocazia împlinirii a 20 de ani de când conducea cu măiestrie compania. Plantation Barbados Extra Old 20 ani este impresionant prin aromele sofisticate şi seducătoare putând fi savurat simplu cu gheaţă sau într-un cocktail. Gustul este un mix echilibrat de lemn de stejar portocale confiate ciocolată neagră frunze de tutun şi un praf de piper. Mirosul prezintă note intense de vanilie caramel scorţişoară şi cireşe combinate armonios cu accente subtile de banane flambate şi nuca de cocos. Finish-u l este unul fructat lung cu accente lemnoase şi un praf de condimente.
