Justerini & Brooks a fost înființat în 1749, iar primul Royal Warrant – garanție ce îl face distribuitor oficial al casei regale și îi certifică poziționarea pe cea mai înaltă treaptă a calității produsului – l-a primit de la regele George III în 1761, urmând de atunci să primească această onoare de la fiecare monarh britanic, inclusiv de la regina Elisabeta II. Așa cum sugerează și numele, J&B Rare este un scotch whisky rar, creat de un adevărat geniu al whisky-ului. Acest blend a schimbat gustul whisky-ului în ochii consumatorilor, venind cu o aromă îndrăzneață cu note proaspete și un finish vibrant, într-o perioadă în care whisky-ul avea doar un caracter dur. Calitatea superioară a acestui produs i-a câștigat o clientelă loială și un succes de care se bucură și azi.
