Romurile Plantation sunt produse de Casa Ferrand, recunoscuta ca una dintre cele mai mari case producatoare de bauturi spirtoase din lume. Gama Plantation a luat nastere in anul 1999, din pasiunea lui Alexandre Gabriel pentru vechile tehnici de maturare a romului. Casa a achizitionat in 2017 Distileria de rom West Indies din Barbados, indeplinind viziunea lui Alexandre Gabriel de a crea romuri uimitoare printr-un proces care imbina tehnicile moderne cu metodele traditionale de productie a romurilor fine.Romul Plantation Gran Anejo este un amestec de romuri provenite din Guatemala si Belize. Este maturat intre 3 si 4 ani in butoaie de bourbon in Caraibe si adus apoi in Franta, unde este maturat in butoaie de stejar francez folosite la maturarea cognacului. Este un rom bogat, onctuos, cu un gust complex care cucereste prin aromele sale de ciocolata si cuisoare. Nasul dezvolta note de vanilie, pere, mar verde si cocos, invaluite de accente florale. Pe palat, aromele intense de ciocolata si fructe se impletesc armonios cu note de condimente si tutun. Finish-ul este lung, invaluit in fructe exotice. Este un rom potrivit ca baza pentru cocktail-uri.
