Descriere
Spyros Metaxa s-a nascut intr-o familie de negustori de matase din Grecia. Primele sale afaceri au fost cele cu marfuri fine, dar cum ii placea sa priveasca inaintea timpului sau, s-a angajat in cautarea de a crea o bautura de culoarea chihlimbarului unica. In anul 1888, Spyros si fratii sai Elias si Alexandru si-au construit prima distilerie in Pireu, portul Atenei. Metaxa a devenit repede un success si a inceput sa fie exportata in tari din Marea Mediterana si din anul 1900 si in USA. Metaxa 7* este o bautura foarte cunoscuta si este obtinuta dupa reteta traditionala aparuta in anul 1888. Acest sortiment are in compozitia sa distilat din vin invechit 7 ani in butoaie din lemn de stejar Limousin, vin Muscat si plante aromatice si ierburi. Miros: Note de piersici coapte completate cu prune si accente floraleGust: Arome bine echilibrate cu gust intens de miere, anason, stafide imbracate in note de condimenteFinis: Lung si persistent cu accente fructate
