Totul incepe in anul 1816, cand John Johnston si Archibald Champbell Brooks au construit doua distilerii pe acelasi teren, unul dintre ei devenind Lagavulin, prelunda cealalta distilerie. In 1887, Peter Mackie a ajuns la distilerie, sub a carui mana calauzitoare distileria si numele Lagavulin urma sa devina un reper important in lumea single malt-urilor din Islay si din Scotia.Lansarea anuala a lui Lagavulin este intotdeauna un deliciu, iar Lagavulin 12 ani Special Realease 2021 nu dezamageste. Acesta este un single malt “acustic”, un clasic al distileriei, pur in stil si special. Lagavulin 12 ani Special Realease 2021 este unul dintre cele mai curate si impresionante creatii ale distileriei, bucurandu-se de un real succes. Acest sortiment are un echilibru perfect cu arome de malt, turba si lemn.Miros: Acesta are un miros usor intepator, clasic Lagavulin cu note curate si proaspete de apa de gura toate pe o baza cenusie ce aminteste de turba, amestecate cu note de sare si minerale, alge si nisip.Gust: Are un gust puternic si neted in textura si neasteptat de dulce, intens si foarte afumat, cu o usoara aciditate si un strop de sareFinish: Finish-ul este unul lung, incalzitor, dulce si afumat, cu note de apa sarata si fum
