Distileria Jameson a fost fondata la Dublin in anul 1780 de catre John Jameson si tot atunci s-au pus bazele unei lungi traditii pentru calitate si succes, stabilind noi standarde in ceea ce priveste distilarea whiskey-ului. Acesta investise in cele mai bune echipamente la acea vreme si insistatase ca maturarea sa fie efectuata in cele mai bune butoaie disponibile. 60 de ani mai tarziu Jameson era a doua cea mai mare distilerie din Irlanda. Whiskey-ul irlandez Jameson este un whiskey blended, care este amestecat din cele mai fine whsikey-uri din cereale si din cele mai bune rezerve de whiskey-uri irlandeze si nu numai. Dupa aceea acesta sunt distilate de trei ori, nu pentru ca trebuie ci pentru ca asa se vrea, acest proces reusind sa-i confere acestui whiskey netezimea, ca semnatura a lui Jameson, iar dupa acest proces urmeaza imbatranirea in butoaie de stejar timp de minim 4 ani de zile.Miros: Buchetul acestui whiskey are un usor parfum floral cu note de ardei picant si note de lemn dulceGust: Gustul este un echilibru perfect intre notele picante, nuci si vanilie cu notele de sherryFinish: Finish-ul este unul neted si moale
