Regiunea Speyside din Scoția are una dintre cele mai curate și bogate în minerale apă din lume. Hopkins a început cautarea locului perfect pentru o distilerie în această zonă, așa a descopit o vale retrasă și pârâul Granty Burn. Atunci a realizat că apa extraordinar de pură a acestui pârâu va produce u whisky remarcabil, cu un caracter răcoritor. Aici a luat naștere distileria și moștenirea Speyburn. Hopkins Reserve este un single malt ușor afumat, dar și dulce. Note delicioase de mere verzi, caramel și lămâie sunt acompaniate de un acord de fum.
