In 1840, fratii John si James Grant au solicitati o licenta pentru a-si face o distilerie. Glen Grant de 10 ani a castigat in 2016 titlul de Single Malt of the Year titlu oferit de Jim Murray Whisky Bible, acesta fiind un whisky exemplar scotian.Glen Grant Major's Reserve este cel mai tanar si mai usor de baut single malt din gama Glen Grant.
