Descriere
Distileria Cardhu a fost infintata in 1824 de John Cumming, care fusese anterior un contrabandist de whisky. Distileria era amplasata sus pe Dealul Monnoch, deasupra raului Spey din regiunea Speyside din Scotia din cauza turbei care inmoia apa. Distileria era condusa in principal de Helen Cumming, sotia lui John, care obsinuia sa vanda sticle de whisky trecatorilor prin geamul casei lor.Cardhu 18 ani este un single malt imbatranit timp de minim 18 ani de la Cardhu, tinut in butoaie de stejar pentru o aroma mai bogata si mai complexa. Acest single malt pastreaza stilul moale si abordabil al lui Cardhu si adauga note de fructe bogate si ciocolata acestui single malt. Acest speyside single malt este bogat, echilibrat si foarte complex.Miros: Buchetul acestui single malt este unul complex cu note de fructe macerate ca perele, prune si cirese si nuante de ananas imbinate cu note suplimentare de trandafir salbatic si mentolGust: Gustul este unul neted si dulce, cu o aciditate usoara si plina de viata si un nucleu moale cu arome bogate de ciocolata si fructeFinish: Finish-ul este unul lung, neted si uscat bogat in cacao
