Ballantine’s Hard Fired este un whisky scotch care trece printr-un proces de fabricatie personalizat. Acesta incepe prin selectarea individuala a butoaielor de stejar american, care sunt apoi arse cu mangal, procedura din care deriva numele Hard Fired. Maestrul companiei selecteaza doar cele mai potrivite butoaie care vor fi umplute cu licoarea Ballantine’s si lasate pentru maturare. Procesul de ardere cu mangal ofera note delicioase de vanilie si accente afumate si condimentate, ceea ce ofera acestui whisky o finete distinctiva.
