Ballantine's 7 ani Bourbon Finish este noul whisky scotian inspirat de fondatorul George Ballantine, care a inceput sa vanda propriul sau whisky in varsta de 7 ani in anii 1870, iar acesta a fost creat de Sandy Hyslop, maestru blender. El a amestecat whisky-uri single malt si single grain pentru o expresie traditionala Ballantine's cu o varsta minima de sapte ani, inainte de a le finisa in butoaie ex-bourbon provenite din Kentucky. Oferindu-i ce e mai bun din ambele lumi: profunzimea scotch-ului cu dulceata unui finisaj in butoaie de bourbon. Culoarea: galben-aurie stralucitoare. Miros: dulce si vibrant. Gust: moale si cremos, cu arome de vanilie si caramel si de o nota de nuca de cocos moale - acestea par sa accentueze senzatia de cremozitate, fiind insotite atat de fructele proaspete cat si de cele uscate, cum ar fi merele rosii, pere, stafide. In partea inferioara se regasesc alte arome de miere si o nota de sirop de aur, plus sultanina si pudra de cacao. De asemenea, sunt evidente nuante tarzii de pere posate si scortisoara. Finalul este foarte frumos si de o lungime decenta
