Istoria distileriei Ardbeg incepe in anul 1815, atunci cand John Macdougall cumpara o licenta de producator si deschide distileria Ardbeg ca si o distilerie cu acte in regula. Cativa ani mai tarziu aceasta va avea un nou proprietar pe Thomas Buchanan. In ciuda ascensiunilor si coborasurilor de pe drum sau, Distileria Ardbeg supravietuieste in ciuda tuturor sanselor cu o productie de bauturi ireprosabile, care in ultimii ani au castigat numeroase premii, fiind chiar numita atat de aproape de perfectiune de catre cunoscatorii de whisky-uri.Ardbeg Uigeadail a fost numit in Biblia lui Jim Murray din 2009, Whisky-ul Mondial al Anului laudand stralucirea sa matasoasa si complexitatea la un nivel unde doar o mana de distilerii din lume poate chiar visa sa ajunga. Pronuntat Oog-a-dal acest single malt ce insoteste cu note traditionale profunde si fumurii ale lui Adberg.Miros: Mirosul acestui single mat este bogat si greoi, cu arome temeinice si afumate cu note de nuca cu condimente proaspete de ocean, cedru, si ace de pin si note usoare de carbuneGust: Aromat complet si bogat cu o textura profunda de acoperire a gurii, acesta fiind un echilibru intrigant intre aromele dulci, picante si cele profunde de fum.Finish: Finnish-ul este unul uimitor de lung, cu stafide, tonuri de mocha si fum aromat bogat
