Romurile Angostura au castigat multe medalii de aur la competitii internationale si au fost numite “cea mai premiata gama e rom din lume”. Angostura este unul dintre principalii producatori de rom din Caraibe si are o colectie superba de romuri fiind si liderul pietei mondiale pentru bitter. Povestea Angostura se naste in anul 1824 cand Dr. Siegert si-a perfectionat reteta pentru bitter in orasul Angostura din Venezuela. In anul 1875 compania se muta in Tinidad, iar din anii 1940 incepe sa distileze propriul rom dezvoltand o gama larga de romuri, romuri albe, dark si inclusive Legacy – un rom foarte invechit. Romul Angostura 1919 este obtinut dintr-un amestec de romuri selectionate maturate timp de cel putin 8 ani in butoaie de bourbon si apoi amestecate cu maiestie. Acest sortiment are note condimentate cu accente de stejar, vanilie si caramel completate cu nunante de ghimbir si melasa.
