Distilerie aflată în „Regina Hebridelor”, insula Islay, Lagavulin demonstrează prin sticlele produse ca fumul nu acaparează personalitatea whisky-ului. Deși povestea Lagavulin începe cu contrabandă și ilegalitate în anul 1742, astăzi este cea mai veche distilerie din regiunea Islay. În tinerețe, whisky-ul era înflăcărat și aprig, dar cu timpul acesta și-a câștigat renumele și eleganța. Lagavulin 8 Years a fost lansat pentru a comemora 200 de ani de la înființarea distileriei. Acest Single Malt este puternic și afumat. Fumul puternic și mirosul de ceai te lovesc încă de la prima degustare, acesta este gustul extraordinar cu care se mândrește Lagavulin.
