Povestea Chivas a început pe meleagurile Highlands din Scoția, în cadrul fermei unde s-au născut fondatorii John și James Chivas, doi frați ambițioși cu spirit antreprenorial ce și-au dorit sa creeze ceva măreț. Conduși de această dorință, s-au mutat în orașul Aberdeen, unde a luat naștere compania The Chivas Brothers. Frații au ținut întotdeauna cont de dorințele clienților lor, făcând tot posibilul ca oferta lor să fie pe măsura cererii. Recunoașterea regală a ajuns să facă parte din ADN-ul Chivas în anul 1843, atunci când a primit primul său Royal Warrant – o garanție ce îl face distribuitor oficial al casei regale și îi certifică poziționarea pe cea mai înaltă treaptă a calității produsului. 13 Year Old Rum Cask este gata să schimbe felul în care vedem whisky-ul.
