Singleton a fost fondat în anul 1897 și se află printre dealurile pitorești Convall, Dufftown. Fiind una dintre cele șapte distilerii din Dufftown, aici s-a născut celebra vorba „Roma a fost construită pe șapte dealuri și Dufftown stă pe șapte alambicuri.” Single malt-urile maturate în butoaie de bourbon din stejar american, oferă o dulceață incredibilă, iar o mică parte din băuturi este maturată în butoaie de sherry. 12 Year Old este fin și complex — o băutură pentru novicii și veteranii whisky-ului deopotrivă. Aroma este un amestec dulce și îmbietor de nuci prăjite și vanilie. La gust are note subtile de coacăze negre, zahăr brun și cafea tare. Fiecare înghițitură se încheie cu o notă finală elegantă și proaspătă.
